Intellezy creates video-based microlearning that helps employees quickly get up to speed with Microsoft Office, Office 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud. To ensure all employees can access their videos, Intellezy adds English captions to all their content. Intellezy also uses foreign language subtitles to meet growing international demand for their services.

John Dukarski-French is responsible for obtaining captions and subtitles for all of Intellezy’s videos. With as many as 8,000 videos in the queue, he needed a vendor with the bandwidth to handle very large orders and the flexibility to offer customizations and personalized support.

A Huge Library of Videos to be Captioned and Subtitled

To comply with government regulations, Intellezy captions all videos in English. With the addition of foreign language subtitles, they can reach new international markets and deliver microlearning to organizations around the world.

But with such a massive library of videos, John knew he required a vendor capable of managing bulk orders at an affordable cost, without sacrificing quality.

With so many videos needing captions and subtitles, meeting deadlines was a concern. Intellezy had worked with automated caption providers in the past, but the results were often inaccurate and full of errors — errors that John’s team had to correct:

“I tried some captioning services that were done digitally, but the accuracy just wasn’t there. We wanted a great product that was done by a human. Otherwise, we had to go back and correct all the mistakes.”
