(silence). All right, we'll get started. Hello and welcome everyone to Rev's Quarterly Product Roadmap Webinar. Thank you for joining. We are extremely excited to give you a sneak peek into some of Rev's newest enterprise innovations that will help you seamlessly integrate speech to text into your company's workflow.

Brianna:

So presenting today will be me Brianna Byers, Product Marketing Manager, Luke Beninga, Product Manager for workspaces and Eric Margetis, Product Manager for dashboards. Today, we're going to cover what Rev's new enterprise experience looks like and how you can start to make every word actionable and accessible to your growing audience. We'll take a deeper dive into workspaces, which is helping teams improve collaboration and productivity within a single Rev account, dashboards, which gives a birds eye view into your most important Rev data so you can make better business decisions with less effort, and how we're continually working to improve your caption quality with premium service captions. At the end, we will wrap up with some Q and A.

So before we jump into the meat, I wanted to take a moment to engage everyone who joined us today. I know we have many folks here from organizations of all shapes and sizes, but we wanted to better understand to your knowledge how many different departments or teams within your organization currently use Rev. All right. We'll end the poll here. Awesome. Wow. So we've got people across the board here, and I think this just goes to show that no matter the size of your organization or industry that you work in, it's no secret that the amount of video and audio content has exploded. However, and the demand for that content, again, to be both accessible and actionable, but the organizations are really struggling to manage or optimize all of their content.

Brianna:

So in order to reach their widest possible audiences, organizations must make their content inclusive for everyone. Those who may be deaf or hard of hearing, speak global languages, or even watch content on a muted device and organizations have also suffered productivity costs by introducing new or complicated workflows to capitalize on those new audiences or insights while trying to maintain and improve their bottom line, which is exactly why we developed an enterprise experience for businesses with ongoing speech to text needs, which we call Rev Pro to help organizations focus their time and resources, reach your growing audience and improve accessibility all through providing a level of partnership across security, account management and product innovation that gives you peace of mind.

Brianna:

So let's dig into what you all came to learn more about Rev products innovations. And to set the stage, our first innovation we wanted to provide some context to the problems it's helping solve for our customers. We know that while most employers rate teamwork and collaboration as very important, most people don't believe that their organization collaborates enough or effectively, which can lead to a lack of alignment and ultimately impacts the outcome of the task or project you're working on. And that is exactly why we built Workspaces, a powerful productivity and collaboration tool designed exactly for the way that your team works and ultimately is a better way to organize your users and files all within a single rapid pickup. So Luke, take it away.

Luke:

Great. Thanks Brianna. Hey, everyone. Excited to introduce you all to our new Workspaces interface. Workspaces is our new way to organize all your organizations, departments, teams, and content all within one Rev account. Workspaces are a collection of shared file repositories that can be comprised of different users, orders, and preferences, and make it easier for Rev to scale with you as you spin up new projects and teams. With workspaces, you can organize various work streams and quickly toggle between all the workspaces you are a member of. As I mentioned, workspaces can be comprised of multiple users within your organization, making it easy to collaborate and ensure everyone has access to the files they need. We've also updated our powerful search tool so you can locate orders across all workspaces or just in the one that you'd like. When you're ready to create a workspace, you can quickly name and enter description of your new workspace and then start adding team members.

Luke:

You can quickly name and enter a description of your new workspace and then start adding team members. With workspace level user management, you can either directly add team members who are already a member of your organization or add new users. When new users are ready to join your workspace, they have the option to transfer their existing files over to the workspace to ensure a seamless transition. In workspace settings, you can manage order preferences as well as archive a workspace if you no longer need it. We've also made it easy to ensure that your orders go to the right workspace. In checkout, you'll find a dropdown selector for routing new orders to the desired workspace. And if you need to monitor an in-progress order, you can quickly filter order history by workspace to stay up to date. Usage dashboards, which you'll hear about shortly from Eric, are workspace compatible. So you'll be able to monitor workspace usage as you please.

Luke:

So we're excited about all the productivity improvements that Workspaces will bring to your teams, but for account administrators with Workspaces, you'll be able to easily organize all your teams under one balance with consistent pricing, ensure the right people have the right access to files and let Rev scale with you when you're ready to spin up new projects or teams.

Luke:

So Workspaces is currently in a beta period with a slated public release of January, 2022. If you'd like to get Workspaces enabled today on your account and are a existing Rev Pro customer, you can reach out directly to your customer success manager. Awesome. Thank you so much, Luke. We are really excited about Workspaces and how it is already started to help teams and we're excited to share or more of those stories in the future. But before we jump into our next topic, let's do another quick poll. We would love to know which of the following metrics would be most valuable for your team to have visibility into under your Rev account.

Brianna:

Awesome. All right. I will end the poll and share it now. This is really interesting. Thank you for sharing and without giving too much away, we're really excited to say that all of those metrics and more will be included in Rev's new dashboards, and we built dashboards to help you make better businesses decisions with less effort by giving you a bird's eye view into your most important Rev data. So Eric take it away.

Eric:

Thanks. Hey everyone, excited to talk about dashboards today. So we created dashboards because we got a lot of requests from our Rev Pro customers for a self-serve way to really help you better manage your account outside of your touchpoints with our awesome customer success and account management teams. So we decided to build... Dashboards here are organized into two main sections, usage and turnaround time performance. With each of these sections, you'll have filters which will allow you to drill down into the data into a level that your organization finds the most helpful. In addition to that, the data will be updated multiple times a day, so that you're always getting fresh data.

Eric:

We'll now turn our attention to the usage section of the dashboard and give you a little bit more detail. So at the top of the usage section, there's an at a glance view, which will feature metrics like total spend, orders placed, and your return on investment by using Rev. Further down, you'll see these same metrics, plus a couple more, which are broken down by time and service line to really help you understand where your money's going and understand any trends that are happening over time.

Eric:

And finally, on the next part of the usage dashboard, you'll be able to see a user breakdown of these same metrics, which will help you better understand who on your account is using Rev and how they're using it.

Eric:

We'll now shift our attention to the turnaround time section of the dashboard. And our turnaround time section will feature a graph of average turnaround time segmented by file length, service line, and priority selected at checkout. So this is rush or non rush. This insight will help you really manage your workflows better by understanding exactly how long it takes files to typically come back after pressing checkout.

Eric:

And that concludes our brief sneak peek of dashboards. Dashboards are still in development and soon to be released in a closed beta. Dashboards will be generally available to all of our Pro customers beginning in late 2021.

Awesome. Thanks Eric. I know a lot of the customers we talked to are really excited about dashboards and the flexibility that it's going to provide with all the different filters and being able to look at that from all different angles to drill down into. So thanks for sharing and for our last poll, we wanted to understand from all of you a little bit more about your current content workflow. So to your knowledge on average, how much time does your team spend doing quality control on content per month?

Brianna:

( silence)

Brianna:

Awesome. All right. Thank you. This is great feedback and exactly why Rev is always working to improve quality because we know that managing large volumes of video content can be challenging and a time consuming process and that's exactly why we built Premium Service Captions.

Brianna:

Now, if you were in attendance at our last webinar, we announced this feature and have seen tons of organizations across all industries capitalize on this new service line, which grants you more caption customization options and access to our top captioning professionals, ultimately helping you increase productivity and spend less time spot checking your files.

Brianna:

So with Premium Service Captions, you can customize preferences like speaker labeling, atmospherics, caption positioning, profanity, terminology, or even add in your org's unique style guide. And this has been especially helpful for companies with unique industry terminology like the medical or legal industry, for example, or have style guides that are important for their brand audience. So for example, one organization we work with prefers that the B in black is capitalized anytime it's mentioned in cultural, racial ,or ethnic terms, and this is something we can accommodate for through Premium Service Captions. Next, we are able to increase the efficiency.

Brianna:

Next, we are able to increase the efficiency of your distribution workflow by reducing the time you spend in quality control, in some cases, by up to 90%, which has been great. And last, provide brand protection by automatically surfacing your captions to the top 5% of our Rev captioners, who are masters of accuracy, content, timing, and follow your unique style guide. And what's great about premium service captions is that you can decide which orders get premium service at checkout. This allows you to treat different types of content differently. However, if you want all of your caption orders to automatically be premium service, you have the option to set that up in your account settings. We currently have integrations with our API, YouTube, Panopto and Zapier, and we can build additional integrations that at work with your company's workflow.

Brianna:

So today we highlighted some of the key product innovations for businesses with ongoing speech to text needs, but we want to emphasize that no matter the size or scale of your content or company, Rev has the flexibility to meet your current needs. And to recap, early access to workspaces is available now for Rev Pro customers just reach out to your client success manager or account manager to get set up. Dashboards is coming in late 2021, and if you're a Rev Pro customer interested in our closed beta, you can email dashboards@rev.com, and premium service captions is available now. So while this is a short sneak peek, we really appreciate you joined us today and we would love to take your questions. All right, we see some questions rolling in. All right. Rebecca asks, is there any additional service fee for Workspaces?

Luke:

Yeah, I'm happy to take this one, Brianna. Thanks to the question, Rebecca. There is no additional fee for Workspaces. The only requirement is that you are a Rev Pro customer, but yeah, Workspaces is completely free. We believe that it will better enable your teams to all come under one account. So no fee there.

Brianna:

Awesome. All right. It looks like we have another question for Luke, from Annette. When will separate billing be available for different Workspaces?

Luke:

Hey, Annette, hope you're doing well. Great question. We're still in development on that, I don't want to give you a timetable specifically, but likely at Q1, it's something that we would be able to support. Thanks for the question, we know that a lot of customers are excited about that and thanks for your patients.

Brianna:

Awesome. It looks like we have a question from Zimon. I hope I'm saying your name correctly. He asks, are there discounted rates for premium captioning if you're a Rev Pro customer? And the answer is yes, there is discounted rates available. Just reach out to your account manager or account executive for more details on those rates. All right, we have a question from Kate, for Luke. She asks, how do you upgrade users on teams to different levels? Example manager in Workspaces, and how do you navigate this in settings?

Luke:

Yeah, totally. So, there will be a new page for our Rev Pro customers under an organization dashboard. We'll actually be able to view all users associated with your organization where you can actually manage their permission level. And then to get more granular on the Workspace level, you'll be able to individually manage Workspace team membership. So each Workspace, as I mentioned, can be comprised of different users. And so you'll have the ability to set those permissions at an org level and then decide who has access to what workspace under your organization.

Brianna:

Thanks Luke. Yeah, I know you're doing a lot of work right now on user management settings. So those are going to become even more elaborate. We have a question from Elaine for Erik. They ask, on Dashboards how was the ROI savings calculated?

Eric:

Yeah, happy to take this one. So we have two metrics for ROI, the first one is time saved. Time saved is calculated depending on the service line with an assumption around like the average time that it takes to transcribe a minute of audio. So we basically take the number of minutes in you submit to us and then apply some assumptions based on the service line, and then sum up that amount. As for the actual savings, the cost savings, what we're doing there is showing you the discount off of our list prices. So as a Rev Pro customer, you are given a discount showing me sign up. And so whatever the difference is between your custom price and our list price, that is the savings.

Brianna:

Awesome. Thanks, Erik. All right, Angela asks, she says, we just signed up for Pro starting October 1st. Will we have dashboards and workspaces as part of that right away or is it something that will need to be enabled? Angela as a Rev Pro customer, we can get those enabled for you if you're interested in participating in the beta. If you could email dashboards@rev.com, we can get you involved with that. And if you can communicate with your client success and customer success manager about getting set up on Workspaces, we'd be happy to do that for you as well. All right. Sorry, I'm reading through a few. All right. Someone has asked, is the turnaround time for premium service captions the same and do these captioners spend more time searching for the correct spelling of places, people, and or other details that we normally need to fix? That's a great question. And the answer is that premium service captions turnaround time is the same, you'll have the ability to rush premium service captions if you want to. However, we ask you some questions on the front end to better understand your customization and what quality means to you. So if you have a specific style guide or terminology or speakers and-

Brianna:

Specific style guide or terminology or speakers and titles and things that are really important for your brand audience, we would work with you to understand that on the front end so that our captioners can make sure that those are being incorporated in your captions. All right. We have a few more questions. Jackie, this is a great question that I might need to follow up with our premium service captions product manager to confirm, but I believe the answer is yes. Jackie asks, can captions include words on image graphics within video? Asking for screen breeder purposes. People who are using close captions with screen reader tech. I'll follow up on that just to make sure. Let's see here.

Brianna:

We do have a question from [Rileah]. She asks, what's the best part of working at Rev? This is someone who is interested in becoming a Revver.

Speaker 1:

[inaudible] speak to the Revver. I can't speak to the Revver side of the marketplace. I would say a couple of things. One, the people at Rev are amazing to work with. Everyone's very friendly, smart, and hard working. Secondly, our work is impactful. We're driving accessibility across the globe. And then secondly, we're a two sided marketplace. So we are also creating great work- from-home jobs for our Revvers who are actually working on all of the orders that you place that aren't automated. So for those reasons, love working at Rev. I'm sure others could find some similarities in that as well.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I would agree with all that's been said. And the one thing I would also highlight is that it's awesome just being in a... Building a product that is kind of new and groundbreaking and just getting transcription to the hands of folks who never knew the benefits that it had [inaudible] them.

Brianna:

Eric, it looks like we have a question for you from Jeff. He asks, will the time saved ROI feature be available retroactively for past orders or just for orders beginning when dashboards is enabled?

Eric:

Yeah. Great question. So this will be available for orders retroactively. So you'll be able to pick the time range you want to see this metric, so it's pretty flexible. So it will include all your historical orders and then we'll continue update as you place orders in the future.

Brianna:

All right. To follow up on a few additional questions. Someone had asked, they were speaking in terms of premium service captions more about the proofreading of the captions, including for things like grammar and things that make sense. And one of the great things about premium service captions is that they are being serviced to the top 5% of our Pro Revvers, which means they have very high standards for quality that they need to keep up in order to be a part of that group. And so because of that, you are ultimately getting higher level of quality through premium service captions.

Brianna:

And we are very hands on with our pro customers. If there are any issues, we want to know about that so we can circle that feedback back to our Revvers and make sure that we're continually making those improvements. And then another question from Annette, it looks like she, or you, are having some issues with identifying files coming from the automation from the [Pinapta] recordings. So in terms of troubleshooting, I will make sure that you get connected with your account manager and we will look more into that for you. All right. Well, I think I answered all the questions, or we did.
